Forming Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
Set machines to complete forming parts to meet quality standards. Efficiently operate production machinery to achieve proven job rates, complete part inspections, and manage non-conforming part quarantine and labeling. Responsibilities also include handling materials via forklift, with training provided, and recording job progress data both handwritten and through an ERP system.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set machines to complete forming parts to meet quality standards.
+ Operate production machinery efficiently to meet job rates.
+ Complete inspections of parts and manage non-conforming parts by quarantining and labeling them.
+ Handle materials using a forklift; training is provided.
+ Record job progress data both manually and through the ERP system.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ 6+ months experience in a machine operator position.
+ Proficiency in welding, production welding, machine operation, MIG welding, robotics, laser technology, and robotic systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferred experience of 6+ months in a sheet metal facility.
+ Ability to pass a blueprint reading test.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large, climate-controlled sheet metal facility located in an Airpark. The first shift runs from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime on Fridays when applicable. The second shift operates from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with Friday as a reserved day for mandatory overtime when applicable. All new hires start on Mondays for a group orientation. The dress code requires steel-toed boots, jeans, and solid t-shirts in specified colors. For welders, sleeves are provided.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
