Welder**
**Job Description**
This position offers a unique opportunity for candidates eager to learn the iron working trade. You will start as a general laborer on commercial construction projects, receiving training to become a full-time iron worker after six months. Candidates must have construction labor experience, whether skilled or unskilled, and familiarity with carpentry, iron working, welding, or sheet metal. Pay rate will be $18 and up depending on relevant skills in welding. This position can start as soon as possible after an in person interview.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist on site with set-up, clean-up, and break-down.
+ Support the foreman with various labor tasks on site.
+ Carry equipment to different parts of the site for skilled workers.
+ Shadow skilled laborers to learn the trade and operational procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in carpentry, iron working, welding, or sheet metal.
+ Prior experience working on commercial construction sites.
+ Reliable transportation to commute to and from the site daily.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ General labor experience in a construction setting.
+ Willingness to learn and develop skills as an iron worker.

**Work Environment**
You will report directly to the construction site daily, working from 7am-3:30pm with the possibility of extended hours depending on project demands. You will be working outdoors, exposed to the elements, and must be comfortable with cold conditions, dressing appropriately for the weather.

This is a full-time position based out of Rowley, Massachusetts.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
