Note: The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $32 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:
Hours: Monday through Friday day shift. Weekend work potentially available
Using hand or electric tools to fabricate, cut, and install framework
Build metal, wood framing, and roof truss components
Maintain, construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
Perform residential and commercial projects
Complete Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures
Being confident in framing, measuring, trim work, and finishing work
Review blueprints, schematics, and drawings
Follow safety practices at all times
Qualifications:
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
5+ plus years of Finish/Rough commercial/residential carpentry experience
Strong scheduling and blueprint reading skills as well as knowledge of metal stud/wood framing, material management, metal doors, hardware install, drywall, trim, cabinets/counter tops, suspended grid, tile install, etc.
Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly
Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload wood and other materials as well as carry needed tools and materials to and from the jobsite
