Theatre stage carpenters and technicians wanted (Carmel) compensation: Positions are part-time, hourly or contract for services. Hourly rate positions range from $20 per hour to $25 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.Weekly rates from $100/wk to $400/wk, depending on experience, and assignment. Pacific Repertory Theatre, in Carmel California, has stage carpenter and theatre technician positions available for its 2025 season, including carpenters, lighting and sound ops, board operators, and running crew. We are currently recruiting for our six-show season starting in August and continuing to the New Year. Positions are available for single shows as well as for the entire season! Productions generally run Thursday through Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. For running crew positions, you must be available for all performances and tech rehearsals for the chosen production.
