**What You'll Do**
As a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer, you'll be a vital contributor in the development and modification of aircraft structural components and system installations. Your work will directly influence the safety, efficiency, and innovation of modern airframes.
**Day-to-day responsibilities include:**
+ Designing and modifying both **metallic and non-metallic parts** as well as **system installations** (electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems).
+ Collaborating with **static stress and fatigue experts** to craft optimal design solutions.
+ Utilizing tools like **CATIA, SAP, and VPM** to create high-quality datasets and product structures.
+ Performing trade studies, supporting certification efforts, and providing **in-service design support** .
+ Applying deep technical knowledge to guide the successful completion of complex projects.
+ Acting independently while aligning with project timelines and engineering excellence.
**What You Bring to the Hangar**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering.
+ **9+ years** of design experience in airframe structures and/or system installations.
+ Expertise in interpreting engineering drawings, technical documents, and bills of material.
+ Strong computer proficiency in **MS Office and Google Suite** tools.
**Preferred Skills & Experience:**
+ Experience working with **maintenance repair practices** and shop capabilities.
+ Strong familiarity with **certification processes** , weight reduction strategies, and layout maturation.
+ Ability to obtain or currently holds **Authorizer/Approver Technical Signatory** .
+ Prior exposure to **international aerospace environments** a plus.
