Molding Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Molding Machine Operator to join our team. The role involves starting up and shutting down injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, troubleshooting machine alarms, and performing mold changes. You will be responsible for ensuring quality control and maintaining safety standards while working independently and collaborating with various departments. Responsibilities Start up and shut down injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Respond to machine alarms and identify root causes. Perform mold changes and establish injection molding machine processes. Inspect products for defects using gauges and inspection tools. Document inspections and follow Good Manufacturing Practices. Ensure products meet quality standards and are correctly packed and labeled. Follow safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area and operate overhead cranes safely. Work independently and follow instructions from supervisors. Communicate effectively with technicians, maintenance, quality control, and warehouse staff. Train new team members and support cross-training efforts. Essential Skills Proficiency in injection molding and troubleshooting. Experience in machine operation and equipment repair. At least 3 years of experience working with injection molding machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of plastic materials and processes. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. Why Work Here?
