Overview
Surf Internet is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our Service Delivery Team focused on Small Business and Enterprise Accounts. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of high-speed internet services, ensuring smooth coordination between construction, fiber installation teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in project planning, execution, customer communication, resource management, and escalation resolution.

Responsibilities:
- Project Ownership: Manage full project lifecycle for small business and enterprise customer accounts - from initial planning through final installation and activation.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with construction teams, contractors, and internal service delivery teams to coordinate fiber placement and installations.
- Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns proactively.
- Contractor Oversight: Monitor and manage performance of third-party contractors responsible for fiber placement, ensuring adherence to timelines, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Tool Utilization: Use HubSpot for customer relationship tracking and SiteTracker for project planning and field team coordination.
- Escalation Management: Identify potential roadblocks and escalate issues internally or externally to avoid project delays.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure optimal assignment of internal and external resources to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to leadership on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in telecom, construction, or infrastructure deployment.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optics installation and construction workflows is highly preferred.
- Proven experience managing client-facing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HubSpot (CRM) and SiteTracker (or similar project management tools).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training is a plus.
