Dobler Management Company, Inc., is seeking a highly talented Superintendent of Multifamily Garden Style projects to join a well-established Pierce County company specializing in multi-family housing developments. The ideal Superintendent is an expert in successfully managing all field operations of a construction project. The Superintendent is responsible for representing our company and ourguiding principleswhile ensuring that company policies regarding safety, scheduling, quality, budgeting, and customer service/satisfaction are adhered to. This position must demonstrate strong collaboration and leadership capabilities, as well as outstanding time management and organizational skills.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Familiar with requirements of construction drawings, specifications, and with terms and conditions of project contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings and outlying documents.
Utilize knowledge of construction practices.
Ability to develop site planning and coordinate with franchise utility providers.
Solid credentials demonstrating self-motivation and ability to operate independently.
Prepare, forecast, and maintain responsibility for CPM project schedule - meet milestone dates.
Ensure quality control of materials and mechanical attachments in accordance with structural design.
Promote and enforce a clean, safe, and secure job site as required.
Proactive in problem solving, offer solutions during challenges.
Inspection and monitoring of subcontractor operations to ensure compliance with contracts
Coordinate site testing and inspections.
Attend and participate in owner and subcontractor meetings.
Prepare and submit daily reports.
Regular, timely attendance
Supporting Duties & Responsibilities
To Chair or to present at all weekly safety meetings
Superintendent to forecast long lead items by assessing the schedule or accelerating the current schedule.
Prepared and willing to train and mentor less experienced field personnel at any level.
The leading advocate for jobsite safety
Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 7+ years of related construction experience in scheduling, field supervision, procurement, and knowledge of production throughout all phases of construction.
Multifamily Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE)

Special Skills
- Demonstrate written and verbal communication abilities, strong overall management, planning, problem-solving and negotiation skills. Delegates work appropriately; proficient using computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project.
Certifications and/or Licenses
- First Aid and CPR trained, and 30 Hour OSHA
Physical Requirements
- The physical demands of this job may require transporting materials to various job sites, operating equipment/machinery, and performing construction-related tasks on an active construction site.
