- Develop and maintain company-wide safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory standards.
- Create site-specific safety plans, including fall protection strategies and elevated work platform protocols.
- Lead and document weekly toolbox talks and pre-task planning meetings.
- Conduct safety orientations for all new hires and ensure task-specific training is completed.
- Organize and deliver ongoing safety training sessions, including rigging, PPE use, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain OSHA 300 logs, training records, and certifications.
- Perform regular jobsite inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment, including harnesses, guardrails, and rigging systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in concrete or structural work.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, fall protection systems, rigging, and elevated work platforms.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent preferred.
- Safety management experience with a related contractor such as concrete, civil, or structural.
- OSHA 500 and OSHA 30 certifications.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, fall protection, elevated platforms, and rigging safety.
