General Laborer Contract to Hire (1 Opening)**

Schedule:MondayFriday, 6:00 AM start | 1012 hour shifts | Occasional Saturdays in summer

Pay Rate:$28.00/hour

Duration:6 months

Work Environment:Outdoor yard and plant operations

**Position Overview**

This entry-level role supports concrete and aggregate operations in a fast-paced outdoor environment. The General Laborer will assist with yard maintenance, equipment setup, inventory, and basic concrete testing. Training is provided, with opportunities to grow into equipment operation and batch management roles.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Maintain yard cleanliness and direct truck traffic

+ Stock inventory and assist with concrete testing

+ Operate hand tools and heavy equipment (jackhammer, loader, skid steer, etc.)

+ Follow instructions from batch operators and assist with general yard duties

+ Perform physical tasks such as digging and moving materials

**Required Skills**

+ 12 years of outdoor construction or labor experience

+ Experience with heavy equipment (loader, skid steer, backhoe, excavator)

+ Comfortable with physical labor and working in fast-paced environments

+ Basic data entry skills

+ Punctual, reliable, and willing to work overtime

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
