HVAC Project Manager in Staten Island,NY,US

Qualifications 5+ years of commercial/residential mechanical project management experience. Must have HVAC experience. Extensive knowledge of mechanical project management, proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget, as well as producing excellent customer satisfaction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, be highly organized and have the proven ability to manage people effectively. Construction related certifications are a plus. OSHA 30/SST Required. RFI's. RFP's, COR's, Submittal Process, Etc.. Ability to run multiple crews for installation Ability to attend meetings and meet required project schedule Highly Proficient in email documentation on regular basis between client and subcontractors. Usage of excel, outlook, O365 preferred. PlanGrid, Textura, Procore, Bluebeam experience are a plus. Developing and reviewing project schedules. Negotiating subcontractor and vendor contracts. Procuring, reviewing, and submitting trade shop drawings and equipment submittals for the project engineer's approval. Releasing and tracking equipment orders. Attending project site meetings and walk-throughs. Scheduling site deliveries and building system shut-downs. Field verifying the installation pace, details, and quality of direct or subcontracted trades. Preparing, pricing, and submitting written change orders. Preparing project Operation & Maintenance manuals. Preparing project close-out documents. Performing field surveys. Preparing miscellaneous proposals.
