Foreman Carpenter High-End Residential

Position Summary:
Were hiring a Foreman Carpenter to join our small, high-performing team focused on delivering exceptional residential renovations in the Hudson Valley. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned carpenter with 1015 years of foreman experience in high-end residential construction. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, fast yet meticulous, and comfortable collaborating closely with both tradespeople and project leadership.
Were looking for someone who is energetic, thoughtful, meticulous, reliable, and brings a can-do attitude to jobsite challenges. You should be equally comfortable with rough and finish carpentry, with moderate skills in plaster and paint. Youll work under the guidance of a site superintendent and will assist in reviewing the work of other trades as needed to maintain quality across the board.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day carpentry work on active job sites
Collaborate with the site superintendent to ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedule
Perform high-quality rough and finish carpentry, with additional plaster and paint touch-ups as needed
Review the work of other trades (electrical, plumbing, etc.) with direction from the site superintendent
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Mentor junior carpenters and help maintain a positive, efficient team culture
Communicate proactively with project leadership and team members
Qualifications:
1015 years of experience as a foreman carpenter on high-end residential projects in NYC and/or the Hudson Valley
Expert-level skills in rough and finish carpentry
Moderate skill in light plaster and painting
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently within a team
Familiarity with high-end residential jobsite logistics, standards, and permitting environment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Own tools, valid drivers license, and reliable transportation
