Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our in-house team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in producing technical shop drawings using AutoCAD, translating designer renderings into accurate, buildable plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed technical drawings for fabrication based on design intent.
Interpret and translate architectural renderings, designer sketches, or markups.
Collaborate closely with our project managers, engineers, and shop floor.
Revise drawings in response to feedback and design changes.
Ensure drawings adhere to company and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup is required.
Minimum of 2 years drafting experience in millwork or cabinetry.
Strong understanding of construction and fabrication terminology.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design plans.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred:
Prior experience in high-end millwork or luxury interiors is highly valued.
Familiarity with architectural submittals and shop drawing standards.
