Job Title: Building Engineer
Work Location: Morrisville, NC
Duration: Long-term contract with option to hire
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Education/Experience Required: High school or equivalent

Job Description:
As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.

• Candidate will be working in a research facility with large plants and a green house
• Candidate will start off working with a team and then transition to more of an independent role.

Responsibilities :

• General maintenance for HVAC
• Work orders will come through to assign work
• Light electrical when working within HVAC units

Skills & Qualifications :

• 4-5 years experience
• H.S. diploma, trade school preferred
• EPA 608/Universal/CFC certification highly preferred
• Basic computer skills

Top Must have Skills:

• HVAC experience
• Safety skills a must have
• Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills

Top Nice to have Skills:

• Well-rounded knowledge of building maintenance
