Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic ? Troubleshoot simple machinery forfaulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions andrepair/replace as required. Request maintenance assistance when needed.? Make minor machine repairs and/or adjustments whenever requested bySupervisor. ? Fabricate simple fixtures, parts, tools and supportequipment by utilizing machine shop practices and equipment, i.e.:lathe, milling machines, drill presses, saws, welder, and hand tools. ?Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems using schematics as necessary.Maintain all support machinery, i.e.: air compressors, cooling towersetc. ? From existing designs, manufacture specialized support machineryand parts as required or assigned. ? Perform simple electrical wiring onproduction, support building utilities (120V ? 480V) three phase, and120-volt single phases. ? Perform normal plumbing and carpentry work asneeded. ? Repair material handling equipment and perform periodicpreventive maintenance as directed. ? Order necessary parts and toolswith approval of Supervisor. ? Maintain daily log of important jobactivities as information for subsequent shifts and management. ? Becomecompletely familiar with all safety equipment and follow establishedsafety practices at all times. Report all safety hazards or violationsto Management promptly. Report all injuries immediately to Supervisor. ?Must adhere to Easypak Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP?s). ? Maintaina level of knowledge in all items as listed on skill sheet and attemptto advance this knowledge level. ? Monitor parts usage and maintainadequate inventory. ? Perform any other duties assigned by a supervisor.? High School Diploma or GED required. ? 3-5 years of experienceperforming maintenance tasks within a manufacturing environment ?Mechanical knowledge ? Strong attention to detail ? Analytical abilities? Experienced in multiple functions including electrical diagnostics,servo drives, carpentry, plumbing, fabrication, machine repair ? WindowsOffice Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) ? Basic proficiency inEnglish including the ability to understand and execute instructions onthe manufacturing floor. ? Employee must be able to work OT (up to 4 hours) on thepreceding and following shift in addition to their normal 8-hour shiftas needed to cover production needs.
