Job DescriptionThe Primary purpose of this position is twofold. 1. To assist a journeyman electrician in his campus duties. 2. To learn the electrical trade while working. A state of Idaho journeyman electrical license requires 8000 hours of on-the-job training plus four years of apprentice schooling. The apprentice will be expected to attend trade school at EITC two nights a week during the fall and winter semesters. Apprentices will be reimbursed for school expenses at the successful completion of each semester. This is a 30 hour a week fully benefitted position from three to five years.
