General Laborer Job Description As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing safety procedures by moving materials and assisting in the installation of metal frames. This position requires comfort with heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively, within a loud and fast-paced environment. Your role will also involve maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy workspace, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Responsibilities Move materials and help install metal frames to improve safety procedures. Perform heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively. Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Build and assemble metal frames and gating on the robotics floor. Install fencing, sensors, and video screens in pick/pack stations to enhance safety and operational efficiencies. Essential Skills Experience with hand tools such as hammers and drills. Experience with power tools and material handling. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to 45 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Shifts are available Monday through Friday with potential for additional hours. Available shifts are 1st shift from 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2nd shift from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Canton, Mississippi. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
