- Maintain preconstruction, construction, and closeout execution plans; project scopes of work; budgets; and schedules.
- Manage vendor and subcontractor invoicing and client billing in coordination with accounting.
- Monitor project costs and field conditions and ensure changes are fully reflected in cost reports.
- Monitor design content and coordinate design revisions for constructability and compliance.
- Coordinate the construction schedule with design, commissioning, and qualification schedule requirements.
- Identify project risks and work to mitigate them in partnership with leadership.
- Lead the established site safety program in your area and monitor performance with Construction Managers and Superintendents on site.
- Interact regularly with the client, ensuring their needs are met with a focus on the client experience.
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients as you develop solutions.
- Strong construction experience with a focus on safety and quality.
- Experience in construction management and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ability to manage piping, mechanical, and civil construction tasks.
- 10+ years of experience in project delivery or related roles managing multi-million-dollar construction projects.
- OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain and maintain.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
- Manufacturing / Industrial experience (GMP on $20 million+ projects).
- Experience in the construction of pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or life science facilities.
- Piping and civil experience.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with teams and clients.
- Team building skills and a strong work ethic.
This position involves working on-site at a construction location with a focus on pharmaceutical manufacturing.
