Engineering CAD Technician

Responsibilities:

• Use Civil 3D software to develop, update, and manage engineering drawings and models for municipal infrastructure projects.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to support the creation of design plans and construction documentation.
• Ensure all CAD deliverables meet local municipal standards and industry best practices.
• Maintain well-organized and accurate project files, including version control and document tracking.
• Support quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project documentation efforts.
• Help improve CAD standards and workflows within the organization.
• Stay current with updates and advancements in CAD software to boost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer-Aided Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency in Civil 3D; experience with MicroStation is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite at the Milwaukee corporate office five days a week.
• High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
