Painter (Pay $20/hr., to $28/hr.,) in Milwaukee, WI**

**Job Description**
We are seeking skilled painters to assist with interior painting projects in school facilities. This role involves stripping old paint using scrapers and putty knives, preparing surfaces by caulking cracks and filling holes, and protecting surrounding areas with tarps, drop cloths, and painters tape. Painters will apply new coats of paint using brushes and rollers with a focus on achieving clean, even finishes. The project is fast-paced and time-sensitive, requiring efficiency and attention to detail. Prior experience in residential, commercial, or institutional painting is required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Strip old paint from walls using scrapers and putty knives.
+ Prepare surfaces by caulking cracks, filling holes, and smoothing imperfections.
+ Protect surrounding areas using tarps, drop cloths, and painters tape to ensure clean, precise work.
+ Apply new coats of paint using brushes and rollers, ensuring even coverage and a professional finish.
+ Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project.
+ Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
