**About the Role**
As a **Welder** , you will fabricate and repair metal components using MIG welding techniques, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards. Youll work from blueprints and schematics, operate lift equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts on the shop floor.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding using 0.035 and 0.045 hard wire on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
+ Read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, and schematics.
+ Prepare metals and work surfaces for safe and effective welding.
+ Inspect welds and assemblies using precision measuring tools.
+ Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other lift-assist tools safely.
+ Maintain clean work areas and adhere to all safety standards and plant rules.
+ Track and log time sheets and document quality procedures.
+ Collaborate with leadership to report issues and improve processes.
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
+ Must pass the Honeywell Intelligrated weld test.
+ 3+ years of experience in industrial assembly. (Class 1)
+ 1+ year experience in industrial assembly. (Class 2)
+ Ability to MIG weld with 0.035 and 0.045 hard wire.
+ Physically capable of standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
+ Basic computer literacy.
**Preferred:**
+ Experience with TIG and flux welding.
+ Familiarity with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and precision instruments.
+ Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
