Looking for an experiences Millwright Assistant for a local feed store.

This is a Direct Hire position.

Pay: 15.00 DOE

Responsibilities

Assisting with installation and assembly: ing Millwrights in installing new machinery and equipment, and assisting in the disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of existing machines as needed for maintenance or repair.

Performing routine maintenance tasks: Carrying out tasks like cleaning, lubricating equipment, replacing worn parts, and assisting with troubleshooting issues under the guidance of a skilled Millwright.

Material handling and transport: Moving equipment, materials, and parts using various equipment including forklifts and hand trucks, ensuring efficient workflow and proper storage.

Safety and housekeeping: Adhering to strict safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and participating in safety training sessions.

Learning and development: Actively participating in on-the-job training, developing mechanical aptitude, and gaining knowledge about feed mill equipment and processes.

Supporting other tasks: Assisting with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or experienced Millwrights, such as assisting with inventory control of spare parts or helping with general upkeep and housekeeping of the facility.
