Building Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Whiteville, NC . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Install and maintain wiring, lighting, control systems, and conduit in residential/commercial buildings.
• Terminate panels, pull wire, and connect/disconnect circuits and components.

• Install motor feeders and make standard motor connections.

• Analyze upcoming tasks to ensure the right tools, equipment, and procedures are prepared.

• Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA and client-specific standards.

• Provide support to other team members and maintain tools and equipment.

• Enforce job site safety regulations and company protocols.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and safely.

Requirements:

• • Minimum 4 years of experience or completion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid drivers license.

  • In-depth knowledge of Electrical principles, systems, wiring, National Electrical Code (NEC), Construction safety standards

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Proficiency in blueprint and schematic reading.

  • Basic knowledge of fire alarm system installation and maintenance.

  • Experience with electrical tools, control systems, and motor wiring.
