About the Role
THIS OPPORTUNITY:
The Water Resources Group of Egis US is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Water Resources Engineer - Entry Level for immediate employment in our expanding Indianapolis Headquarters. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate readiness to participate in water resource projects. Egis is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work within a fast-paced team environment to develop and design water resource projects for clients.
Proficiency in water resource design and hydraulic modeling as well as the ability to learn and develop technical skills for unique and advanced design requirements on projects.
Develop and review plans and computations to ensure quality, compliance and accuracy of the design work and construction plans.
Provide efficient design to ensure profitability and client schedules are being met.
Develop time-saving design resources to be utilized by other engineers within the department.
What do we need from you
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Up to 5 years of experience in water resource design
Proficient in preliminary engineering reports
Good knowledge in funding sources and those requirements
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Applicant shall have a detailed understanding of water resource engineering and of all aspects of a project from study through construction completion.
