HVAC Install Technician *Also hiring for Service Technicians* Job Description As an HVAC Install Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, refrigeration, and building pump systems. You will troubleshoot both high and low voltage electrical issues in HVAC and refrigeration systems and ensure that installations meet industry standards and local codes. Your role will involve performing quality inspections during system start-ups and maintaining the company's vehicle as per policy and guidelines. Additionally, you will respond to emergency service calls, transport necessary tools and equipment, and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and building pump systems. Troubleshoot high and low voltage electrical issues in HVAC and refrigeration systems. Diagnose refrigeration cycles and electrical systems safely. Install HVAC and refrigeration equipment following industry standards and local codes. Ensure systems operate efficiently, safely, and meet code requirements. Perform quality inspections of work during system start-ups. Possess and use required hand tools and test equipment. Maintain company vehicle according to policy and manufacturer guidelines. Respond to emergency service calls during and outside normal hours. Transport tools, equipment, and supplies as needed for job completion. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC service. EPA Certification. Proficient in measuring and identifying different voltages. Deep understanding of the refrigeration cycle, including superheat/subcooling, TXV operation and adjustment, solenoids, superheat valves, receivers, and accumulators. Ability to measure and interpret gas pressures. Proficient in diagnosing sensors, thermistors, and control devices. Experience with VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives): programming, troubleshooting, and error code resolution. Understanding of cooling tower, chiller, and boiler loops and their temperature requirements. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must own and be proficient with an ohm meter, amperage meter, refrigerant gauges, vacuum gauge, battery drills, pipe wrenches, and basic hand tools. Why Work Here?
