**Job Description**

The Scheduler and Cost Control Engineer is responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining detailed project schedules and cost reports. This role ensures project activities are planned and executed efficiently within approved budgets and timelines. The position supports project management in monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions as needed.

1. Scheduling & Planning:

Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.

Establish project work breakdown structure (WBS) and activity coding.

Monitor project progress and prepare schedule performance reports (e.g., S-Curves, histograms).

Conduct schedule risk analysis and recommend recovery actions.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with the schedule.

2. Cost Control:

Prepare and monitor project budgets and forecasts.

Track actual costs versus planned costs and report variances.

Support cost estimation and resource planning during project development.

Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis and report cost performance indicators (CPI, SPI).

Identify trends, risks, and potential overruns and recommend mitigation plans.

3. Reporting & Communication:

Generate periodic project control reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Participate in project meetings and present progress updates.

Interface with finance and procurement departments to align cost data.

**Basic Job Requirements**

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.

7-8 years of experience in scheduling and cost control on large-scale projects.

Proficiency in, MS Project, MS Planner, Azure Dev Ops and Excel. Knowledge of Power BI or similar tools is a plus.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Knowledge of industry best practices, project controls standards (e.g., AACE, PMI), and Earned Value Management.

**Other Job Requirements**

Proof of U.S. citizenship is required.

PMP (Project Management Professional)

PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional)

CCP (Certified Cost Professional)
