This position is preferably based out of our Louisville office. It may also be based out of the Denver office, with a minimum of three days per week of travel to the Louisville office required during the first three months, and occasionally thereafter.

What you will do:

  • As a key member of our team, youll benefit from a collaborative process providing our clients with award-winning transportation project design documents.
  • Youll have the opportunity to manage project assignments with other team members to review, revise, or create project plans and deliverables, based on input received from the project manager or PE.
  • Perform design services related to roadway and site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control in conformance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
  • Prepare specifications and cost estimates.
  • Plan and coordinate project tasks from verbal direction with limited supervision.
  • Provide construction support services.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, emphasizing transportation, public infrastructure, drainage, utilities, site development, and civic projects for municipal and private clients.
  • Bachelors in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent education is required.
  • Must be enrolled as an Engineer Intern (EI) and/or have your Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to acquire.
  • Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation OpenRoads.
  • Knowledge of local and state regulations and codes, including AASHTO, CDOT, NACTO, and MUTCD design guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a creative, professional team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $76,000 - $100,000 per year
