Your impact

Jacobs is building a central construction management center in Denver, CO to manage and supervise Design Build projects ranging from $10M to $2B throughout the United States. Working closely with professionals located on the project sites and in our design centers, you'll be supporting design, construction, and commissioning of complex water and wastewater treatment facilities that serve our communities.

Based in Denver, CO, you will work in a hybrid environment splitting time between the office location and traveling to the project sites to interact with the project team, subcontractors, and our customers. You'll work with the Jacobs design-build team, vendors, and subcontractors to coordinate on time delivery and successful startup of equipment ensuring technical documentation (submittals, RFIs, design changes, and record documents) is up to date.

Here's what you will be doing:

  • Work with vendors, subcontractors and Engineering to achieve timely submittal approval
  • Coordinate RFIs to resolution with the assistance of the Engineering team
  • Expedite equipment to ensure on time delivery
  • Manage the receipt, storage, handling, and installation of process equipment
  • Ensure material/equipment is provided and installed in compliance with contract plans and specifications
  • Coordinate and maintain schedule associated with responsible scope
  • Manage and maintain as-built drawings and documentation
  • Assist with monthly cost projections for subcontractors and vendors under their responsibility
  • Manage the closeout process for subcontractors and vendors under your responsibility
  • Support project plan implementation for quality, change management, and safety

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor of Science in an applicable field with a minimum of 5 years of specific construction project experience.
  • Experience in the delivery of municipal or industrial water, wastewater, water resources and / or conveyance type work.
  • Working knowledge of construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.
  • The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to climb, stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery that includes high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, some defined confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals as you would come to expect in the water and wastewater design build industry.

The base salary range for this position is $93,000.00 to $140,690.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
