Job Overview:
The Painter is responsible for preparing and painting all materials associated with APSCO finished products. This role ensures the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all items produced within the department, as well as those received from other departments. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Prep and paint all materials related to APSCO finished products.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in all painted products. Keep the department organized, clean, and safe; maintain equipment as needed.
- Verify part dimensions and ensure correct quantities per drawings or work orders.
- Manage daily/weekly workflow to meet production timelines and coordinate with supervisors. Report defects or rejected items to the Department Supervisor.
- Communicate supply needs, production concerns, and material changes to supervisors.
- Read and follow shop drawings or instructions for painting procedures. Use appropriate tools (brushes, rollers, spray equipment) and safety gear at all times.
- Inspect work in progress and finished products for compliance with specifications.
- Assist in other fabrication roles and work overtime as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 2 (two) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 (two) or more years of industrial or production painting experience
- At least 2 (two) or more years of industrial or production powder coating experience
- Solid problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.

Preferences:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints is a plus.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
Travel & Work Arrangements:
This position will be based 100% onsite at our Tulsa, Oklahoma facility
Must be able to work extended hours as required by management.
