- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- High School Graduate with equivalent with some vocational or trade school courses is desirable. Ability to make simple calculations and follow simple written and oral directions.
- Experience
- One (1) year experience in carpenter work and one to three years as a painter helper is preferred. Completion of vocational or trade school courses is helpful. Must have current boiler license and/or eligible to become licensed as required by the state. Employee must be licensed 6 months after completion of entry level period.
- Physical
- This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information.
- Inside and outside environment. Exposure to changes in temperature, fumes, and mechanical hazards. Close eye work. Color perception. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Operates equipment. Standing, walking, climbing, continuously. Lifting and carrying up to 100 lbs. , Pushing/Pulling up to 200 lbs.

- JOB SUMMARY
- Constructs and maintains structural desk and cabinet wood-work, furniture, equipment and fixtures. Paints, re-decorates walls, wood-work, hangs wallpaper, hangs and finishes sheet rock paneling.
