Job Title: Site Civil Project Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Civil Site Group as a Project Engineer. The role involves working closely with a Project Manager and other staff members to drive the design on a variety of civil/site development projects. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including mixed-use, multi-family, subdivisions, commercial, government, and healthcare, with the potential for quick career advancement into project management and client development roles.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of complex projects ensuring timely and profitable completion.
- Design site layouts, perform grading and drainage design, and handle permitting of commercial and residential site development projects.
- Effectively communicate with internal staff and clients throughout the project.
- Participate in project proposals and presentations as necessary.
Essential Skills
- Project management
- Civil engineering
- Proficiency in Civil 3D
- Experience in land development and site development
- Professional engineering skills in grading, roadway design, and utility design
- EIT certification
- PE License (preferred)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in land development project management (preferred)
- Experience managing design of site layouts, grading, drainage, utility, and permitting
- Effective leadership and communication skills

The work environment is mainly in-office, with the option to work remotely one day a week once settled in. The role may require some site visits.
