Construction Laborer Job Description Join our team as a construction laborer responsible for general duties on new construction roofing projects. Your role will involve removing debris, using shovels, cutting materials, loading carts, hauling trash, and maintaining an organized work area. Responsibilities Perform general laborer duties on new construction roofing projects. Remove debris and clean up materials and tools to keep the work area organized. Use shovels and other basic hand tools to assist in various tasks. Cut up materials and load them onto carts for removal. Haul away trash and dump it appropriately. Essential Skills Experience working on a construction job site. Comfortable using basic hand tools such as shovels. Able to perform manual labor tasks and use power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in labor-intensive jobs such as roofing or concrete work. Any experience with roofing is a plus. Capable of performing manual labor for 8+ hours a day. Shifts typically run from Monday to Thursday, with 10-hour days starting at 5:00 am and ending at 3:30 pm. Steel toe boots are mandatory, and shirts must have sleeves at least 4 inches long. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Johnsonville, Tennessee. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
