Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking Adhesive Coating Line Technicians to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art coating and converting equipment at a company that manufactures its own custom label stock. The role offers hands-on experience and potential for career advancement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate and maintain coating/converting lines (13 dual/single web machines).
+ Set up and run adhesive, silicone, hotmelt, and die-cutting stations.
+ Perform quality inspections using automated systems.
+ Load/unload paper rolls and maintain production logs.
+ Follow safety and quality standards to minimize waste.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills.
+ Intermediate computer skills and ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in production, machine operation, and inspection.
+ Data entry skills.

**Work Environment**
This role is set in an industrial/manufacturing environment on a production floor with coating and converting machinery. Expect moderate noise levels, moving mechanical parts, and physical activity such as lifting, standing, and walking. The shift during the contract is from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday, and will change to a night shift of 5pm to 5am upon conversion.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gresham, Oregon.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
