We are looking for a skilled Hardwood Floor Installer for casual/temporary work in South Surrey!

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Measure and prepare subfloors before installation
2. Install hardwood planks according to layout plans
3. Use tools such as nailers, glue guns, saws, and other flooring equipment
4. Trim and cut flooring materials to fit around walls, corners, and fixtures
5. Inspect finished work for accuracy, alignment, and quality
6. Clean up work areas and ensure safety standards are followed
7. Communicate any site issues or delays to the supervisor

Requirements:

1. 12 years of proven experience in hardwood floor installation
2. Ability to work with a variety of tools (e.g., hand saws, measuring tape, levels)
3. Familiarity with safety standards on construction or renovation sites
4. Comfortable with physical labor, including standing, kneeling, and lifting
5. Must bring and wear safety shoes and safety goggles on site
6. Optional but preferred: safety mask or vest
7. Ability to work independently and follow instructions
8. Good communication and time management skills
9. Must be reliable and punctual on all scheduled days
