Residential (DuPage) image 1 of 4 compensation: $30.00 and up employment type: experience level: senior level job title: Carpenter residential decks Looking for an experienced, productive, quality-minded, carpenter with modern tools to build decks primarily in DuPage County. Pressure-treated and Trex composite materials primarily used. Ideal carpenter lives in DuPage County or within 10 minutes of DuPage. Need to be an excellent framer. Be able to figure out and cut stairs. Be able to complete a deck from start to finish. Digging holes (auger), carrying heavy treated lumber, tidy cleanup at end of the day are all part of the deck job. Self sufficient. Must have truck and tools including: Miter saw, circular saw, impact drivers, drills, reciprocating saw, jig saw, etc. Specialty tools, we have. Additional skill sets: windows, siding, flooring, roofing, trim very favorable! This is a 1099 position. Work on a two man crew. Maybe fill-in (in between your jobs) work for the "right" person.
