What You'll Do
As a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer, you'll be a vital contributor in the development and modification of aircraft structuralponents and system installations. Your work will directly influence the safety, efficiency, and innovation of modern airframes.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Designing and modifying both metallic and non-metallic parts as well as system installations (electrical, hydraulic, and fuel systems).
Collaborating with static stress and fatigue experts to craft optimal design solutions.
Utilizing tools like CATIA, SAP, and VPM to create high-quality datasets and product structures.
Performing trade studies, supporting certification efforts, and providing in-service design support.
ing deep technical knowledge to guide the successfulpletion ofplex projects.
Acting independently while aligning with project timelines and engineering excellence.
What You Bring to the Hangar
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering.
9+ years of design experience in airframe structures andor system installations.
Expertise in interpreting engineering drawings, technical documents, and bills of material.
Strongputer proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite tools.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience working with maintenance repair practices and shop capabilities.
Strong familiarity with certification processes, weight reduction strategies, and layout maturation.
Ability to obtain or currently holds AuthorizerApprover Technical Signatory.
Prior exposure to international aerospace environments a plus.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) andor Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $73.00 per hour
