Fire Alarm Installer**

**Job Description**

The fire alarm installer will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems across diverse settings including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This role involves assessing fire safety needs, designing systems, installing components like sensors and control panels, testing and inspecting systems, and ensuring compliance with safety codes. Additionally, the installer will troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems and educate clients on proper usage.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assess fire safety needs and design appropriate systems.

+ Install fire detection and suppression systems, including wiring, sensors, control panels, and related equipment.

+ Conduct routine inspections, testing, and maintenance to ensure systems function optimally and comply with safety regulations.

+ Diagnose and repair faulty components, including replacing parts and addressing system malfunctions.

+ Verify the proper operation of fire alarm systems through various tests and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

+ Explain system functionality to clients, address questions, and provide guidance on proper usage and maintenance.

+ Ensure installations and repairs adhere to relevant local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations.

**Essential Skills**

+ NICET Fire Alarm Installation Certification

+ Proficiency in installation and construction of fire alarm systems

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

+ Skilled in using hand tools and power tools

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in customer interaction and communication

+ Knowledge of compliance with fire safety codes and regulations

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Our client offers health insurance including a medical stipend which is similiar to an HSA that employees utilize for various medical bills/expenses. Paid Time Off offered and employees are elible to enroll into a 401k after working for the company 2 years.
