Job Summary

Under general supervision, to perform manual laboring tasks requiring skill in the use of certain hand and power tools and the operation of equipment in connection with maintenance, construction and service activities and to do related work as required.

What you will do

Works as one of a construction or maintenance crew doing a variety of duties.

Handles rough asphalt and cement work, rough pipefitting or caulking, constructs forms, and/or prepares sub-surfaces for concrete work.

Mixes, pours and spreads concrete.

Operates jackhammers, tree trimming equipment, tampers, and other heavy tools.

Lays sewer pipe, caulks and cements joints on sewer lines.

Installs walls and fences.

Operates equipment including motor vehicles.

Works as one of a construction or maintenance crew doing a variety of duties.

Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Required

Skills and Abilities

Working knowledge in the operation of the common types of construction equipment and familiarity with the use of the tools commonly used in construction work

Equivalency

Starting At: $20.72

Salaries are determined by factors relevant to the position which may include education, experience, and other qualifications. Final compensation decisions are made at the discretion of MNPS in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. The stated salary range for certificated teaching positions is calculated based on 201 days and should be viewed as a reference. All provided salary ranges serve as a general guideline.
