Can I cancel an agreement with a freelancer?
To cancel an agreement with a freelancer for whatever reason, navigate to their application and select the “Cancel” button. The candidate is notified and must agree to the cancellation.
If work has begun, and the candidate disputes the cancellation, both parties have 72 hours to reach a resolution for payment. If no resolution is reached in 72 hours, the situation will go to iHire’s mediation process, as described in our terms and conditions.
However, if no work has begun, the engagement is canceled and no payments are made.
