How are payments handled in iHire's freelance marketplace?
Our goal is to make the process of hiring freelancers easy for you; you have enough work to do! Payments are placed in escrow at the start of a project, securely processed through iHire’s platform, and released when you approve the completed work.
If you expect a freelance engagement to take longer than a month, you can set up milestone payments.
For example, let’s say you need to hire a temporary Radiology Technologist for three months. Instead of putting three months’ worth of payroll in escrow, you can set up milestone events that pay out your temporary talent in a cadence that is easier to manage.
Whether you need a developer to build an app, an HR specialist to cover a staff member’s leave, or a geotechnical engineer to complete a contract project, we have the talent and the flexibility to pay them in established milestones.
This structure protects both employers and freelancers.
