Utility Gas Leak Survey Technician

Location:  Seattle, WA

Compensation: Starting wage $21.00

Our services allow us to provide our clients the ability to make the most informed decisions regarding their utility infrastructure.  Your job as a Utility Gas Leak Survey Technician is to complete outdoor leak surveys on designated gas systems and inspecting gas meters for leaks.

Who YOU Are and What YOU Need: 

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pass a drug test and background check
  • Love working outdoors, staying in shape, and walking 5+ miles per day
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Track record of being an over achiever
  • Desire to work overtime
  • Background in construction or manufacturing is a huge plus
  • Passionate about making a difference in the environment
  • Familiar with using a smart phone and laptop to collect data
  • Have a great attitude

 

What YOU Will Do:

  • Tinker with gadgets
  • Keep communities safe
  • Locate, survey, and assess the origin or damage and gas leaks
  • Detect gas leaks while inspecting designated areas
  • Record and process effective data pertaining to leaks
  • Ensure all field data is collected and reported accurately
  • Work independently
  • Be self-motivated and accomplish daily goals
  • Have strong communication and pay attention to details
