A local commercial builder is in search of an Assistant Superintendent to be located in Triad area. This company has experienced successful growth for decades and builds sizable projects in healthcare, higher-ed, multifamily, and general commercial markets. They are known for their commitment to the client and an impeccable reputation as a design build firm in the state of North Carolina.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in commercial construction
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field is preferred
• General knowledge of construction principles/processes required
• Experience with construction software

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for the Superintendent and project staff
• Assist Superintendent with developing & coordinating activities, schedule, material procurement, and project logistics
• Track, review, and process change proposal requests, change orders, and claims
• Assist with implementation of all applicable safety, EEO, and Affirmative Action programs
• Assist Superintendent with preparation/execution of project closeout process
