Caster Shift Electrician, BRS

**Digital assessment test is required to be completed within 14 days of submitting application.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Repair complex electrical equipment, including automated machines, controls, panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems, VFD drives.
2. Install electrical equipment with minimal instruction after general assignment.
3. Diagnose problems, replace or repair defective equipment.
4. Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic problems.
5. Work with Production to help develop and maintain a Highly Productive Team.

Qualifications:

1. Has strong working knowledge of 480 volt 3-phase electrical distribution systems
2. Has PLC programing experience in Siemens and or Allen Bradley
3. Quality and Detail oriented
4. Strong Technical Analytical/ Problem solving skills
5. Good insight into team dynamics and a positive team player
6. Good verbal communication skills; self-motivated
7. Must be willing to put in extra hours when needed

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Environment is typical for a steel mill production area, with extreme temperatures, high noise levels, and dusty/greasy areas. Scheduled work hours are 4 on, 4 off, rotating shift work, which includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not supervise others
