Ensure that all electrical systems are maintained in good working order in an effort to maximize the efficiency of mill equipment
Installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical motors, scanners, drives, and PLC's on equipment used in the sawmill process
Education Required: Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or an equivalent apprenticeship
Years of Experience Required:
2-5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment
Strong troubleshooting abilities with electrical controls, power distribution (high and low voltage), programmable logic controllers and variable frequency drives is essential
Ability to work a rotating shift with the opportunity of a fixed day or night shift
Previous sawmill experience is considered an asset
Ability to work independently or part of a team is a must
