Pennoni Associates is seeking a Project Surveyor for our Haddon Heights, NJ office to assist the Division Manager with the following:
- Overseeing the professional supervision and management of the survey and survey mapping projects to achieve the profitability, safety, quality, and operations of the Company
- Preparation of estimates of survey needs/projects
- Conducting boundary, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and topographic surveys, as survey projects and in support for engineering projects
- Plan preparation and construction layout
- Scheduling field crews and ensuring project deadlines are met
- Establishing strategies to expand department within the market area
- Developing and maintaining public & client relationships
Required Attributes:
Computer skills required: Office 365; Carlson Survey; AutoCAD Civil 3D; Trimble Hardware and Software (TBC)
- Minimum years of relevant work experience: 8 - 12 years
- Minimum years of management experience: 4 - 7 years
- Knowledge of modern survey methods and surveying devices, including total stations and GPS
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Preferred Attributes:
- NJPLS or ability to obtain, a plus
- Knowledge of MicroStation/OpenRoads is preferred
- This office also uses Leica High-Definition Laser Scanning (HDLS) equipment; familiarity with (or the desire to become involved with) HDLS is also preferred
