Job Title: Cond Bushing Builder

FLSA: Non-Exempt - Direct

Location: (HE)Office TN, Alamo

About the Role:

Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is recruiting for a Condenser Bushings Builder. Applicants must be able to assemble, process (including impregnation, if required) fit for shipping of all power bushings.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to prove and maintain ability to access and read drawings, along with the ability to run required SAP transactions.
  • Foil cutting and spring assembly experience
  • Ability to assemble bushings according to procedures, specifications and customer requirements
  • Able to keep work area free from clutter, and clean and free of all contaminants
  • Able to work with materials such as paper, oil, gaskets, various metal parts, (aluminum, copper, and steel) epoxy compounds, glass, sealants, porcelain, and foil
  • May be required to give information to engineering, purchasing, customer service and shipping
  • Must be able to train continuously on new equipment or new processes within the organization, based upon assignment

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum of one year manufacturing experience
