Fabricator

Position Summary: ABC Imaging is currently seeking a Fabricator to join our team. Under the general direction of the Shop Manager, the incumbent performs all necessary fabrication functions typical of the industry. Job Description: Responsible for producing client displays and custom fixtures, with focus on wood picture frames. May perform finishing operations such as cutting, installing grommets, laminating, and/or mounting of printed jobs. Maintains and cleans production and fabrication equipment on a regular basis. Assists Manager in maintaining inventory and organizing fabrication supplies Assists installation team as needed. Qualifications: Minimum high school education Previous experience in Woodworking, Finish Carpentry or Sign/Display fabrication required. Attention to detail and ability to stick with a task until it is completed to high quality standards Comfortable using router, jig saw, table saw, hinge machine, hammer, wood file, chisels, tape measure, etc. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously without losing focus.
