Job Description:
This is an entry level position for someone learning the roofing trade. He or she must be willing to learn the necessary roofing skills for advancement.
Service Technician assists in identifying sources of water entry into a roof system.
Service Technician assist in installing the most effective repair techniques and materials to stop active leaks.
Service Technician are expected to tear off existing roofing, load the roof with material, load, and unload trailers, clean up the jobsite and equipment, move material around the roof and jobsite.
Service Technician begin their day at 7:00 am and end their day around 3:30 p.m. this may vary at times depending on the job.
Service Technician are expected to comply with all safety practices as outlined in the company policy, including but not limited to personal protective equipment, fall protection, ladder safety, etc
Service Technician assists in maintaining all tools and equipment.
Service Technician answers directly to the Roofing Superintendent.
Service Technician may be asked to work at job sites throughout the southeast. Pittman Waller provides hotel rooms which usually include breakfast and $30/day per diem to cover the cost of lunch and dinner.
All Pittman Waller team members are expected to conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism while on job sites.
