Provide on-site coordination for all phases of commercial pool construction projects; including coordinating subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. The superintendent shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
  • Order the appropriate equipment.
  • Keep track of material stock and orders
  • Lead teams of self-perform manpower including carpenters, plumbers, and laborers.
  • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  • Communicate with project team.
  • Ensure that the team and subcontractor are fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.
  • Identify non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
  • Maintain daily log (written) of activities on the jobsite using Procore.
  • Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously when necessary.
  • Walk the project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
  • Attending meetings designed to coordinate the work.
  • Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors regarding quality of work or scheduling.
  • Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  • Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion.
  • Assist in keeping the job within budget.
  • Gather project material submittals and maintain records at the jobsite.
  • Identify areas of work that are outside of subcontracted scope.
  • Attend pre-construction meetings.

Required Skills:

  • Provide direction to and resolve issues as they arise amongst subcontractors, vendors, and key employees.
  • Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
  • Experience reading plans and specifications.
  • Endurance and ability to visit an entire job site, including stairs or other elevated structures.
  • Monitoring jobsite general health and safety.
  • Must be able to perform hands on construction task when necessary
  • Able to navigate computer programs such as: Procore, Outlook 365,
  • Interpersonal Skills - Focuses on conflict resolution while maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Has experience running a jobsite with your own self-perform crew.
  • Commercial building experience
  • Commercial pool building experience
  • Plumbing experience
  • Electrical knowledge in low voltage control wiring and schematics

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5 years of commercial pool building experience.
  • Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned.
  • Must reside and authorized to work within the United States
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 75 pounds.
  • Meet and maintain a motor vehicle record that meets the driver qualification policy.
  • Must have hands on experience in construction trades and understand the means and methods of a variety of construction trades.
  • Must be able to mentor and teach crew members the construction trades.
  • Valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements for Construction Foreman and Superintendent at Landmark Aquatics

  • Mobility and Endurance:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day).

  • Capability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and navigate uneven terrain.

  • Stamina to work long hours, including potential overtime, to meet project deadlines.

  • Strength and Dexterity:

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling tools, materials, and equipment.

  • Environmental Tolerance:

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.

  • Tolerance for noisy and dusty environments, with the ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Sensory Abilities:

  • Good vision (corrected or uncorrected) for inspecting work, reading blueprints, and observing safety protocols.

  • Adequate hearing (corrected or uncorrected) for effective communication and awareness of on-site hazards.

  • Flexibility and Agility:

  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch to inspect work or demonstrate tasks.

  • Comfort with working at heights and maintaining balance on elevated surfaces.

  • General Physical Condition:

  • Overall physical fitness to perform physically demanding tasks and respond to on-site emergencies if necessary.
