- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive estimating program (practices, processes, and tools) aligned with our company's goals, industry best practices, and project requirements
- Lead the electrical and controls estimating process on complex and high impact projects, providing expertise to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and competitiveness while simultaneously mitigating project risk
- Drive continuous improvement and historical data tracking based on data-driven insights from past projects as well as adoption of the latest tools and techniques
- Collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Building Codes, Electrical Codes and regulations in all estimates
- Travel as required (up to 25%)
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience estimating electrical and controls projects, including design-build, self-perform construction, integrated project delivery and lean construction practices
- Experience with industrial manufacturing, with proficiency in controls, electrical, and facilities experience
- Experience with construction cost databases and estimating software (e.g., Means, Richardson, Timberline, ProEst)
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience in the following contracting methods: Time and Material (T&M), Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP), Lump Sum (LS)
- OSHA 30-Hour
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)
- BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience within food, beverage, and other consumer products industries
- Experience with project cost forecasting and tracking
- Engineering design build experience
- Modular Construction & Prefabrication project experience
- Experience in Integrated Project Delivery Contracting
